PRINTED NOISES - ISSUE #1* (UK, MANCHESTER - EARLY 1979) - ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE PUNK FANZINE * 1980 EDITION - (LESS THAN) 82 PAGES OF CULTURE, POLITICS BUT MOSTLY MUSIC Original and rare first issue of a great punk fanzine from Manchester - although this was issued in 1979 it seems that a second edition was produced in 1980 (as stated on cover) possibly following the success of later issues (I know of 4 issues in total). Very amateur-ish style and in poor lay-out (only text and some sketches, no photos at all) and printed on blue paper but with some great exclusive features like the huge Tony Wilson interview and other interviews with local artists. One of the nicest DIY papers from the time ("..Printed Noises is, as you might have guessed, a magazine produced by a few 16 year old kids from Manchester, because we didn't have a lot else to do.."). Features: TONY WILSON OF FACTORY RECORDS - 8-PAGE INTERVIEW (about punk, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Manchester music and club scene and how he started Factory Records).
