Description

Superb very limited private issue on the French DQL label which was never offered for sale, in excellent stereo catalog number D.Q.L. 501, the legendary Loewenguth Quartet plays the Mozart Quartet 465 ("Dissonance") and the clarinet quintet with Georgina Dobrée. This copy remained uncirculated until I acquired it – there is a blank rectangle on the back intended for a written dedication by the performers which was never filled. Disk NM with one inaudible hairline mark from the pressing plant faintly visible if you look hard, cover shows light storage wear (these were never shrinkwrapped) and a wrinkle on the front (visible in photo). Superb performance, not to be missed.

All records cleaned on a professional vacuum cleaning machine and visually and aurally inspected. Strict grading, condition guaranteed and records properly packaged by experienced collector - please see my buyer feedback for praise for conservative grading.

SHIPPING COSTS:All records are shipped in extra-sturdy, oversize heavy cardboard mailers for maximum protection. In these mailers, a single lp weighs over 500 grammes. These provide unbeatable protection, and while they are expensive I do not charge for them. Swiss postal rates have NOT gone up, but the dollar has lost a third of its value in relation to the franc as well as the euro and the Swiss post office is very strict about weight. ALL RECORDS ARE SHIPPED AT ACTUAL COSTS, AT CURRENT EXCHANGE RATES, THERE ARE NO SPURIOUS HANDLING CHARGES, BUT PLEASE BEAR THE COST OF SHIPPING IN MIND WHEN YOU BID AND WHEN GIVING FEEDBACK ON SHIPPING – I DO NOT SET THE POSTAL FEES OR THE EXCHANGE RATES, AND I DO NOT CHARGE FOR EXPENSIVE MAILERS. The least expensive shipping option is non-priority air mail, definitely air mail (not surface!) but slower than priority air, can take 7-10 days for Europe, 3-4 weeks for the rest of the world but often much faster. For buyers outside Europe, I would definitely recommend this option. The cost of mailing from 501-1,000 grammes is CHF 12 (12$) for Europe and CHF 18 (17$) for the rest of the world. For those wishing faster delivery, the cost of mailing priority air from 501-1,000 grammes is 21 CHF, or 20 dollars for Europe, and 33 CHF or 32 dollars for the rest of the world. I gladly combine records for shipping with multiple purchases The charge for packages weighing from 1001 to 2000 grammes are, priority: 32 CHF (31$) for Europe, 45 CHF (43$) for the rest of the world, non-priority is 21 CHF (20$) for Europe, 32 CHF (31$) for the rest of the world In the past I have stated that I will not ship items except through registered mail, in view of the huge increase in postage costs due to the decline of the dollar I will no longer be firm on this, but I do recommend it and I will NOT assume responsibility for unregistered items! This is to protect the buyer as much as myself. It only costs 6$ to register a package and insure it up to CHF 150 or ca. 144 US$ with the Swiss postal system, this provides a tracking number and guarantees against theft, loss or damage, additional insurance for more expensive items can also be purchased at additional shipping costs. Those who decline to register their parcel must clearly state so in writing with their payment.

Due to problems with postal delivery NO SALES TO INDONESIA/MAINLAND CHINA, TAIWAN AND HONG KONG ARE FINE. I WILL ONLY SHIP REGISTERED MAIL TO ITALY.

Thanks for looking, more rare vinyl listed.
