Description
This is a very interesting recording of the OLIVET COLLEGE JAZZ ENSEMBLE from April, 1980. Cool pasted-on artwork and back track listing. Includes songs such as "Pressure Cooker", "Lovin' Stuff", "Snuffy Strut", "Pa Doo Dah", "The Last Tangle of Lord Boogie" and more... Ambitious, wild jazz-rock with funky moments on the keys. Cool guitar work throughout and some soulfully inept sax and clarinet passages. Recording is distorted and often overpowered by horn section. I included a link to samples of a few tracks. Recommended!
