PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This is the long gone EXACT and superior second press to the impossibly-rare 1968 Lawrence Kansas garage-psych band on the level of "Killer." Little wonder why the '68 issue is valued as having sold for $ $$hundreds to thousands

Unfortunately about the only way one is ever going to be able to ENJOY this GREAT album is by this pressing or the lesser repro 'out there'... Only around 100 copies made, and those are seemingly lost in the past, never turning up. Here are the SMACK::::
Recorded in late July early August 1968 in Lawrence, Kansas USA. The original issue was pressed in a quantity of 100~150 copies, and sold to other attendees at the campus. It contains nine fuzz-drenched covers; four Hendrix covers, three Cream covers, a Buffalo Springfield cover, and an interesting reinvention of a Kinks track.
An original Smack LP is rare as gold dust. We have only seen 2 copies for sale the past 20 years for massive money - and we bought one of the two for our own collection, $2500 later!
The SMACK music is 100% greatness when talking '60s garage 'holy grail' LP's, delivering versions most know and love that are played with extra attitude, feeling, and drive... heavy fuzz guitar, vocals, bass & drums. Those SMACK versions of Cream and Hendrix songs are 100% unique and decidedly - killer. The whole album (very well produced) has a one of a kind Psychedelic feel. There are not many cover albums which give you another perspective on the known songs. This album does for sure :::
