Description

Up for auction at NO RESERVE is "Portrait of a Gemini" by Penny Goodwin on the tiny private Sidney label, catalog #S101. The LP is G. It looks terrible with innumerable scuffs and light scratches, but it plays all the way through. There is pretty constant low level crackle which is more distracting on the slower ballad tunes. Once it got going it didn't wreck the listening experience, but you'll still eventually want a quieter one. The cover is G also with stains, ringwear, rubwear and is completely split across the bottom and has a 9 inch split spin from the bottom. The top needs to be re-glued and is only being held together by about a 3 inch section at top left. It is still a vintage green label pressing that plays PLAYGRADE HERE also.
