on the sidney records label, red label with black print, original 1st pressing, stereo pressing, from 1974.  10 tracks:  today is the day;   trade winds;   rain sometimes;  lady day & john coltrane;   that's all right with me;  he'll come back;  too soon you're old;   slow hot wind;   what's goin' on;   amazing grace.   produced and arranged by ray tabs (whose 2lp set i now have up for sale as well ).  strings arranged and conducted by richard evans.  those of you that follow my auctions know that i do not normally use the reserve feature on ebay that often, but there is a modest one on this lp due to the rarity of this great lp.   matte cover is strong VG+, with some light rub wear (common to this lp due to matte cover), and some light seam & corner wear.   vinyl is strong VG+, with one light mark on side two towards end of 'too soon you're old' and beginning of 'slow hot wind', and some small pressing bubbles (typical to this record), plays with a very light click at times (audible mainly during quiet part of song), not constant, but if you listen for it you'll here it.....bubbles do not affect play at all.   vinyl has been cleaned on  a VPI.    check my other auctions this week for many more rare soul;   funk;   northern soul;   latin;    soul jazz and other lp's & 45's......lots of great stuff that doesn't turn up too often.....buy a bunch and save on shipping.  


while i strive to keep my ebay sales fun and hassle free, i do have a couple new rules, due to some unfortunate activity from my previous rounds of auctions:    both ITALY & FRANCE customers must pay PRIORITY AIRMAIL shipping, regardless of the final value of the item(s)......no EXCEPTIONS!    i've avoided this new policy for some time, but in my last round of auctions i had four charge-backs, so this has become mandatory.....shipping prices are quoted below.   also, i do not accept bids from those of you with zero feedback.  sorry, no exceptions.  thanks in advance for your understanding.  as always, i will not end auctions early, please don't even bother to ask.

all records are original pressings unless noted......i do not sell current reissues.  please ask any questions early, as i am not always by my computer near the end of auctions.    buyer pays shipping, see rates below.   all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with record shipped outside of cover when applicable, with two cardboard inserts.   paypal is the only accepted form of payment at this time.

i have to state that i will ship for $4.00 according to new ebay rules, but i do not like to use media rate, or first class domestic either....both take far too long, and items have sometimes gone missing as well.   if you absolutely have to save $3.00 on shipping, then that is what you'll get, media rate for $4.00, including delivery confirmation....to me, as a seller (and a buyer, for that matter) it takes too long, and i end up with too many questions ( 'where is my record?'   'when did you ship it?'  etc, etc).   i strongly urge you to use priority......you can avoid a heavy box of books being placed on your fragile record, and you'll get it so much faster.    i prefer you use priority shipping with the US, and the cost is $7.00, including delivery confirmation.   first class airmail shipping to CANADA is also $7.00.   first class airmail shipping to MOST OF EUROPE, JAPAN & AUSTRALIA is $14.00.   priority airmail shipping is $28.00 worldwide, and is required on all shipments to both ITALY and FRANCE.   I DO NOT SHIP to SOUTH AMERICA, MEXICO or ISRAEL at this time, NO EXCEPTIONS.   i will gladly combine items to save on shipping, i try not to make ANY money on shipping costs, i typically lose money honestly.   payment is expected within 7 days of auction end.   thanks for looking, and good luck.
