Rarity: this is a signed record cover that includes a large genuine signature by Bryan Ferry across the front panel of the cover. Bryan has signed across the lower middle section of the cover in a medium-thickness dark blue gel-style pen, and is graded 9/10 for definition and ink coverage, and a superb example of his signature. This is a rare USA promotional version of the album with two unique stickers emphasising the promotional nature of the album, both which are positioned on the front panel above Bryan’s signature.
Condition: whilst this rare signature on an iconic sleeve will look amazing mounted, framed and glazed, this item is not in excellent condition. Please note the following:
· Inner Atco sleeve: this is missing and not included in the sale listing.
· Vinyl: the record has been heavily handled with numerous marks, scratches and finger handling marks. This is not a playable copy in my view and would only grade ‘good condition’ in line with global ‘Record Collector’ standards.
· Record cover: This is a thin gatefold card sleeve, and the sleeve has material rubbing, spine and edge wear and ring marks. Cover overall graded as good plus condition. This is a sleeve that will need professionally mounting, framing and glazing to show it in its best light, that of an iconic promotional cover with a brilliant signature to display. Please note that there is a deletion cut on the left hand side of the cover spine.
