PROKOFIEV

ALEXANDER NEVSKY

CANTATA, OP. 78

COLUMBIA MASTERWORKS   ML 4247

Extremely rare, original mono pressing from 1949, which features cover art by a young Andy Warhol.  Columbia Records was his first job and the Alexander Nevsky cover was his second published piece of artwork.

COVER in VG condition with general wear and fading, 1.25-inch split middle bottom spine, half-inch split from bottom of opening.

RECORD in VG+ condition.  Still fairly glossy with light marks and blemishes that have light background impact on playback.  Music dominates throughout.
