Description
.PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

Sept 15, 1970 ~~WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL featuring The 2nd Allman Brothers album; widely anticipated due to enormous popularity, thrusting the band into headlining fame
. On the old ATCO Records label in thick textured/grainy cover ... the second Allman Brothers album featured Duane Allman and their massive timeless hit "Midnight Rider" ... the album is full-tilt solid, also including the outstanding "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed"
A very worthwhile listen... "Midnight Rider" is probably the most popular track on this album, but "Revival," "Don't Keep Me Wonderin'" and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" should all be familiar tracks to classic rock followers.
Idlewild South is slightly less bluesy than it's predecessor, yet more accessible to rock fans. Gregg Allman shoulders most of the songwriting and singing duties. The album is filled with great melodies and wonderful instrumentation, especially dominating are Gregg's soulful vocals and dramatic organ combined by Duane's legendary guitar highlights in each of memorable tunes presented.
The Allman Brothers Band's "Idlewild South", is a strong follow up to the group's wonderful first self-titled album.
Listeners may notice two guitars (inc Richard Betts) entwining throughout the album, more than on their first. The skilled twin leads often accelerate playing off one another in near flawless unison, making for of the bands best early albums.
