Description

This auction is for a rare Promo copy of Metallica "Ride The Lightning".  It is numbered S 739272 and was put out in1984 by Megaforce (Elektra/Asylum) Records.  The sound quality is audiophile quality.  I did not hear one flaw during the entire play of the album, not even a lite dust crackle.  The Cover is Near Mint and has a small push on bottom edge(picture 2) and slight surface wear clearly visible in pictures 1-5.  The back of the cover has the gold stamping of the Serial Number: S 739272 and the Promo Message(picture 4).  The Original Inner picture/lyric sleeve is MINT.  The Vinyl is Mint- with some slight spindle marks on label side 2(picture 11).  Matrix Numbers are: STE-60396-A-3  and  STE-60396-B-3.

Each cover from open records will be shipped inside a resealable Japanese Style Record Bag. Each vinyl record (from open records) will be shipped in Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab high quality inner sleeves. (They will have the original sleeves included as well except as were specifically mentioned). The MFSL Sleeves are imported, three-ply, anti-static, premium sleeves (similar to rice paper). Back Construction consists of a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high density polyethylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front. The MFSL inner sleeves and any original inner sleeves & album extras mentioned in auction will then be put in a thick Japanese type resealable bag. Everything will then be put in a new record box surrounded by profesional packaging. Feel free to email with any questions. Paid auctions will ship on Monday Morning and Thursday Morning.
