Background -

For some reason, when Proprius switched pressing plants back in 2002 to make this LP, they observed some quality control issues with their vinyl LPs. Some LPs came off the production line with some very sharp and rough outer edges and they have a few marks on the vinyl surface that may sound on some audio systems - this is one such example. Due to these small defects, we are offering this long out of print LP title at considerable savings. Just to be clear, the small marks on the vinyl MAY SOUND on some audio systems. Virtually 95% of the LP is perfect and plays superbly. So if you don't mind some noise and sharp edges, you can acquire a wonderful recording, at a wonderful price.

Issued by Proprius in 2002, this is a limited edition version, on virgin vinyl, and made in Sweden. Long out of print, and super rare!

Most of the Proprius titles are fantastic recordings, but 4 titles in particular stick out in our mind as simply superb - Cantate Domino, Kornet Har Sin Vila (Green Blade Riseth), Jazz at the Pawnshop and Antiphone Blues. These are SPECTACULAR recordings that should be in EVERYONE'S LP collection!

This is a BRAND NEW LP issued by the famous audiophile label, "PROPRIUS" in 2002. Made by PROPRIUS (of Sweden) - this is a highly collectible title from their catalog - a superb CLASSICAL / Choral MUSIC title featuring the music of -

 CONDITION Details:

The LP jacket is brand new and is in Mint condition. The jacket is completely intact, with NO seam splits, and show virtually no shelf wear - perhaps a slight corner bend at most.

The LP is in excellent condition! The LP is actually BRAND NEW, however, due to quality control issues when made, the outer edges are sharp and the vinyl has some marks (production flaw) on it that may sound on some audio systems. As collectors of this label should be aware, these records did not come factory sealed in cellophane from the manufacturer.

A Short Note About LP GRADING -

  • Mint = Only used for sealed items.
  • Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
  • Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
  • Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
  • Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them (even for NEW LPs).

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

Don't let this rarity slip by!!!
