This is my EX / EX former library copy of this ORIGINAL UK PRESSING of COB's (CLIVE'S ORIGINAL BAND) - "MOYSHE McSTIFF and the TARTAN LANCERS of the SACRED HEART" original pressing UK LP, released in 1972 on POLYDOR FOLK Mill RECORDS - 2383 161 SUPER. This copy arrived in my hands from a UK radio station record library. There was a folk show ther in the 70's and the record has been played, but very carefully! The very delicate, soft paper, non-laminated gatefold sleeve is in fantastic condition, with very little wear at all, particularly to the bottom edge which usually suffers with library copies. There is the smallest sticker removal mark at the top right hand corner and a tiny crease on the bottom l/h of the rear sleeve wher the record slides in. Also on the rear are a couple light impressions in the soft card, but these do not damage the effect of the 'look' of the sleeve because of the colour and patterns in the artwork. Pretty invisible really! The spine is still firm, but has lost color at the top. Also about one inch of the title has been lost, but otherwise it is in good shape. The disc and labels are in beautiful condition, playing very well with no clicks or jumps or noise. There is one silent mark at the start of side two, but otherwise the disc looks and sounds as new! A WONDERFUL COPY OF THIS RARE AND BEAUTIFUL UK FOLK ALBUM
