Description
One of the most obscure San Francisco Bay-area psychedelic groups to release an album on a major label (Mercury Records), The Savage Resurrection managed to release one LP in 1968 before breaking up in a blitz of personnel and business problems. The Savage Resurrection were also one of the youngest psychedelic bands working the Bay Area circuit; one of their dual lead guitarists, Randy Hammon, was only 16 when they recorded their album. They were formed in the East Bay town of Richmond (near Berkeley) by members of several teen rock groups in 1967.
Record and album cover looks to be in excellent condition. The album cover has two tiny holes on the top of the jacket that goes through the inner paper sleeve and through the back of the sleeve. The previous owner printed their name on the upper right side of the album cover in black marker. There is about a 2" split in the bottom right edge of the cover. Otherwise, there is just some light wear of the cover (front & back) but no color fading. The album itself looks to be in excellent condition with no writing on the label or noticeable scratches.
