Description
PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED - Sci Fi (UD6531) - Japanese Promo / Bootleg LP - c1980
Tracks: Chant, Annalisa, Memories, Low Life, Public Image, Attack, Death Disco, Another, No Birds.
Very nicely presented original pressing of Public Image Limited's Sci Fi LP, released in Japan around 1980. This early bootleg captures the band on-stage at the Leeds Sci-Fi Festival, Queen's Hall on September 8th 1979. The cover states "Plug Copy - Not For Sale", while the vinyl, which appears to be black, is actually dark grey when held up to the light. The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a few very light superficial surface marks - nothing significant - see descriptions below.
A-side: During the intro there is a tiny amount of background pressing noise with tiny and some very small pressing clicks. Thereafter, there is just a tiny hint of any background pressing noise with occasional tiny pressing clicks. Grade - EX- up to EX
B-side: There is a tiny amount of background pressing noise with some tiny and occasional very small pressing clicks. Grade - EX- up to EX
Labels: Both labels are pristine (see scan).
Sleeve: There is a little light wear to the edges and corners, a few light / lightish corner creases and two 1cm long tears to the opening edge - one to the front cover, the other to the back.
