Description

So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1978 of the 'FIRST ISSUE' album by PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.  It is on the VIRGIN label and has the catalogue number V2114.  A genuine UK first pressing it has the matrix numbers A43 4-PIL+ and B43 4-PIL+  in the runout grooves. The sleeve is in very good/excellent condition for its age with just a few small creases and a bit of cornerwear and edgewear.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable.  The printed inner is in excellent condition.  Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with just a few 'spindle trails'.  The record is also in excellent condition and plays really well with only occasional light surface noise and very occasional 'pops'.  Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this excellent album.   The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
