PUBLIC IMAGE LTD
METAL BOX Virgin 79 3xLP in tin EX COMPLETE
Virgin 1979
Lovely copy of Pil's 2nd album complete
with metal 1 sticker on rear of box &
original printed red insert with track listing.
All the paper separators are there.
For the buyers convenience I have
professionally cleaned the records &
put them in Japanese inner sleeves which
I will possibly send outside of the tin
as it can be a bit of a pain getting the records
in and out of the tin to be honest.
Sleeve has the usual finger print marks which
almost adds to the charm of the item &
in very clean condition with no knocks at all.
Paper insert is EX condition.
Record 1 A2B1 Matrix.
Labels are nr MINT,
Vinyl is nr MINT.
Record 2,
C1D1 Matrix.
Labels are EX+ condition,
Vinyl is EX with a couple of small marks.
Record 3,
E1F1 Matrix.
Labels are very nr MINT,
Vinyl is EX+ condition.
Item 16
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
