Description

PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.: THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT . . . THIS IS WHAT YOU GET
This 4th Album by PIL was released in early July 1984. Likely to have bought it that year, but can't really remember. It played very well on my Record Player without "sticking", "jumping" or "ticking", so would like to Grade as EX.
I've filled in as many Item Specifics as I could.
The Outer Sleeve: has a number of little "spidery creases" along the edges, but is is intact. VG+
Inner Sleeve: Can't see or feel any faults. EX.
Tried to show the "spideries" in Images.
This still may be better than most out there, and also better than one you might be trying to replace, or even discover!
This entered the Official UK Chart in late July 1984, reached Number 56, and stayed in for a fortnight. It has the following Hit Singles:
This Is Not A Love Song, no.5
Bad Life, no.71
Have Guinness Hit Singles & Albums Book as reference: Book is showing a different Catalogue Number to this, which was made in Germany (says on Label).
I always use a record cloth before playing, but am sure everyone knows what static does!
Having put all my Records in order early last year (took several weeks!), I've been playing through them for the first time in nearly 30 years - very enjoyable so far - but with space having to be freed up now (this has been in 4 different houses with me), this is the 238th of 366 Artist L.P.'s which I started with (am keeping 137 of them so far), with a further 40 Comedy or Compilation L.P.'s.
Please feel free to ask anything.
Many thanks, Scott.
