Uk duo Public Service Broadcasting invite a circle of collaborators to reimagine their recent work, casting familiar shapes into shadow and light. Under his Late Night Final guise, J. Willgoose, Esq. turns 'I Was Always Dreaming' and 'Electra' into drifting nocturnes, while his take on 'Howland' closes proceedings with a hazy pulse. Gus from alt-J strips back 'The Fun Of It' to a skeletal electronic groove, contrasting with Alex Silva's widescreen rework of 'Towards The Dawn'. EERA lends a shimmering melancholy to 'Monsoons', The KVB drive 'Arabian Flight' into darker corners, and Hainbach's textures on 'A Different Kind Of Love' bring a tactile, analogue unease. Elsewhere, Peter Sandberg's piano-led version of 'The South Atlantic' glows with fragile restraint. What emerges is less a companion piece than a parallel journey - one that tilts these songs toward night, neon and dreamscape.
