Record 1 is very unusual because it has its groove right on the edge of its centre label(see pics)

Box notes:
Grey box is in excellent condition,it does have some minor wear in a few places but nothing serious.The back is also in excellent condition.Very little wear to the edges(see pics)

Original 49 page libretto in Italian with an English translation is in Excellent condition(just a little dicolouration to cover and hinge staples rusting)

It has been play tested before listing on my Linn Sondek turntable,through Quad amps to Spendor speakers-

Results-

Some background noise on the run in to each side and during playback with the odd tic here and there.No jumps or skips throughout both sides.

Excellent playback(listen to sound clips)

The Perfectly flat vinyls look visually in excellent condition.There are a few light surface marks. All sides look very clean with lovely mirror like surfaces.It could be static or some dust in the grooves that is causing some of the background noise.

THEY PLAY AND SOUND SUPERB--LOUD AND POWERFUL AS THEY SHOULD FOR SXL SERIES 1ST PRESS LPS.

All labels are in Near Mint condition(see pics)

Original Decca Inner sleeves are in excellent condition.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described!

I HAVE RECORDED SIDE 1 and side 6 OF THIS SUPERB SET FOR YOU TO LISTEN TO BELOW(this is in mp3 format and is not a true reflection on how good this set sounds,it is just a guide to the condition that it is in)
