Description
Here is a copy of the scarce NWOBHM 45 by PULSE called Too Late / Two Broken Hearts. It was self-released on the band’s own label, catalogue number PUL 001.
The vinyl is very clean with only a couple of very small and insignificant marks if you look closely. It plays perfectly. The labels are clean too.
Pulse were from the north-east of England and this was produced by Mond from north-east Punk legends Angelic Upstarts.
Both tracks are up-tempo guitar tracks with keyboards and they lean towards the more melodic side of NWOBHM rather than the ‘thrashier’ side. Definitely a bit of an undiscovered gem and an excellent record! Great keyboard and guitar solos on side A; great guitar on side B. Very melodic and tuneful, with a singer who can sing, it deserves to be better known. Once you hear this you won't be able to get it out of your head...
