Active between 1969-1972, Long Island based proto-metal groovers Punch tore through the New York City live club circuit with a blistering cacophony, similar to Led Zeppelin or Mountain with just an additional tinge of pre-Black Sabbath monster-boogie, once described as "Grand Funk on steroids." Arriving courtesy of archival record label Ancient Grease, known for specialising in rare 70s heavy rock and psych music from around the globe, this recently unearthed time capsule features live performances, including their cult classic 'Seathead', originally the only 45 the band ever cut, which also previously appeared on the Brown Acid series. Remastered from the band's own archive and accompanied with an eight-page booklet of extensive liner notes and band photos.
