In großartiger Form zeigt sich das Quartett um Pharoah Sanders mit John Hicks am Piano, Walter Booker am Bass und Idris Muhammad am Schlagzeug. Die Sets wurden im April 1981 an verschiedenen Orten aufgenommen: Im „The Maiden Voyage“ in Los Angeles, im „Kuumbwa Jazz Center” in Santa Cruz und in der „Great American Music Hall”, San Francisco. Kenner loben das Live-Album aus Sanders „sanfter” Phase nicht zuletzt wegen des atemberaubenden Spiels von Hicks im fast 22- minütigen „Doktor Pitt”, aber auch das stilistisch an den John Coltrane der frühen 60er erinnernde „It’s Easy To Remember” und das leidenschaftliche „You've Got To Have Freedom" begeistern auf voller Breite. Die Aufnahmen wurden für diese Veröffentlichung als 180g-Doppel-LP durch Cicely Baston in London remastert.
