With the UK printed front laminated Sleeve in VG+ Condition, the plain company inner in VG+ condition & the Record in EX Condition. With great tracks from P, G & E including; 'Wade In The Water & The Hunter'. With the original rough black B&C large logo labels, the A-1 B-1 matrices & no Stampers of the very first presses. Description

This is the original UK issue with the front laminated sleeve, the large B&C logo textured labels and the A-/B- matrices and no stampers of the first and only pressing.

Pacific Gas & Electric were formed in 1967 in Los Angeles and their debut album 'Get It On' was released in December 1968 in the USA on the Kent records label. After appearing at the Miami Pop Festival in the same month they were signed by Columbia/CBS and released a second album in the USA, 'Pacific Gas & Electric' in 1969. The band was also becoming known in Europe, especially after the release in January 1970 of the CBS sampler 'Fill Your Head With Rock'. In the UK the second album was released by CBS in November 1969 and the earlier album was released in October 1969 by B & C Records, but it hardly sold and is very rare today!


The UK front laminated sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and laminate rubbing with a couple of creases on the front cover. The unlaminated rear cover has some light storage rubbing & a coupl of small creases on one corner. The spine is intact, with some laminate creasing along the spine and fully readable, the plain inner is intact, a little creased, discoloured & in VG+ condition.

The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle marks/scuffs, that do not affect play, visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two very faint spindle markings on each side.

The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves.
Overall, just a really nice, loud & clear listen.

The matrix nos. are; CAS-10036, A- stamper ?, B- stamper ?. This is one of early copies of the first pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1969 album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.

Royal Mail post to Europe (All EU countries & non EU countries, including Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zone 1, including Canada, Japan, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and the Rest of the World Zones 2 & 3 (the USA, Australia & New Zealand etc).

All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
