If your reading this,you probably know... One of 78 Quarterly's rarest jazz records and an absolute masterpiece.
I can't find where this has ever been sold on Ebay, so this may be your only chance.
First off, the record is in pretty rough shape. A good cleaning should improve it quite a bit, but I have wanted to handle it as little as possible so I never cleaned it.
Mojo Strut has a steel needle dig from start to finish, but oddly, it doesn't affect play like it looks like it would.
Mojo also has a couple of pits where the needle hit.
Both sides have quite a few scratches and scuffs.
In an oddity for a Paramount, this plays much better than it looks. Music comes through clear with a minimum of pops.
On my honeymoon, there was a record store next door to the hotel we stayed at. So my new wife waited in the room cause of course I had to go check it out
Came back to an angry bride with this record in my hands. Was a pretty good day overall. :)
