This is not a gold mine grading scale. This bold print is to basically tell you that you can’t hold me to gold mine grades because I don’t grade that way and if you didn’t read the description it’s your own fault. It’s my grading scale so if you don’t agree with my grades don’t buy! If you have any questions at all about the grade I have given please ask because I would love to explain it to you.
I use a plus or minus sign to grade between grades.
SEALED - Record is still factory sealed with original shrink wrap.
M (mint) - Record is new, shiny, basically never played. It may be opened just to rip to cd.
NM (near mint) - Record is like new, probably played a few times, but it doesn't effects on the quality of a sound. Maybe one scuff if any. Glossy!
EX++- as close to NM that you can get. It Maybe has 2 small scuffs if any. No effects on the quality of play. Glossy!
EX+-Great shape and still glossy. May have some scuffs from taking record in and out. Very little surface noise. Still pretty glossy.
EX (excellent) - Record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise. Mid to high gloss level
VG+ (very good plus) - Record has been played more times, it has more marks and surface noise, it doesn't skip.
VG (very good) - Record has been played many times, may be more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing.
Cover Grading Scale:
M=Unopened
NM= Opened but in great condition
Very Good = Slightly to medium wear . may have some split seams.
Good=Well Worn . split seams.
Poor=Mangled
Shipping Details:
USA: Shipping will be $4.00 for the first record and $1.00 each additional record.
Canada: Shipping is $7.00 for the first Record. $3.00 each additional record.
Mexico: Shipping is $11.00 for the first record. $4.00 each additional record.
Australia: $14 Shipping for the first record. $5.00 each additional record.
All other customers outside the USA, including Japan, Brazil, Russia, and all of Europe: $14.00 Shipping for the first record. $4.00 each additional record.
All USA packages can be insured. The prices for insurance will be as follows:
Records totaling up to $50.00 will be $1.70 to insure
Records totaling $50.01 to $100.00 will be $2.15 to insure
Any records totaling over $100 please ask for a price
I will not be responsible for shipping damages if no insurance has been purchased.
I will not be responsible for lost international packages, or delays created by customs in other countries. I will send customs numbers to you if requested. Normally I ship First Class International because it is the quickest and cheapest way to send packages airmail. If you want an international package insured, I will have to charge the Priority price, which is almost twice as much as first class international, because they do not allow us to insure packages that ship first class international. Also an accurate package value will have to be declared on the customs forms in order to insure the package for the proper amount. This will create higher customs fees for you when you pick up the package. Unfortunately, there is no other way to insure international packages.
Please Note : When your auction ends please let me know if you plan to bid on other irems or to send you a final invoice. I will give you seven days from the end of the first item won to pay unless you have a bid on an auction that hasn’t ended yet. In that case if I see that you have a bid on item still up for auction I will waite until that I tem has ended. What I’m really asking for is just a little communication and we will be good. If you have any questions or problems I will answer anything and try to help you out.
