Beethoven - Pastoral Symphony
Andre Cluytens conducting the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra.
EMI  ASD 433 - Stereo
LP is in VG+/EX condition. There is some slight static noise at the beginning of both sides, and a few pops/ticks, more on side one than side two. Apart from that the record plays beautifully and the sound is excellent. The cover is in EX+/NM condition. It has been looked after very well, having been kept in its original protective sleeve that it was sealed in when it was bought. Even the 'guaranteed unplayed' seal sticker is on the protective sleeve, something I've never seen before.
This is a gem of a record. Lovely condition, as are most of the other records on sale in this present auction. It looks so good I didn't want to take the record out of the cover! The performance is full of beautiful lyrical playing.
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. There are some gems in the collection which I will post for auction soon. I do not grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
