Description
Patti Smith "Hey Joe" b/w" Piss Factory" 7" from 1974 on MER Records!
100% original and authentic copy of Patti Smith's first 7", with signed dust sleeve! I have done my best to take pictures and show everything, but the edge of the record is "grey" as it should be (I've taken two pictures to show this), horizontal lines do not reach the edge of the labels.
Matrix numbers -
A Side: 2701 - ZION - 1A "2701" is stamped, everything else is hand written
B Side: 2702 - 1A this is all stamped
Condition -
Vinyl: VG+, overall a very nice and respectable copy, I play tested both sides and although their is noise on both sides, once the music kicks in it's hard to notice. Labels have some light wear on the inside closest to the hole, but again it's overall in nice shape.
Cover: VG, although this isn't a proper sleeve I am grading it anyway. Original paper sleeve is signed in BLUE ink by Patti Smith, dust sleeve has some light brown spots on the front and the upper left corner of the opening is crushed slightly, but could be professionally restored if so desired.
All in all, a really nice copy and a rare one!!!
