Description

PATTI SMITH - HORSES - ORIGINAL 1975 ARISTA RECORDS LP AL-4066 (WITH THE ORIGINAL, RARE VERSION OF THE COVER WITH THE ALBUM TITLE IN WHITE LETTERS)

· ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING

The bidders should note that this is a rare Bob Ludwig-mastered “hot pressing” of this album, with his initials “RL” (Robert Ludwig) etched in the trail-off vinyl of the disc. All the wonderful elements of Bob Ludwig’s trademark mastering style are here: incredible clarity and balanced channel separation, vivid and spacious “ambience” sound, as well as wide dynamic and frequency range of the sound spectrum.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, FIRST U.S. PRESSING; THIS IS NOT A REISSUE, AN IMPORT, OR A COUNTERFEIT PRESSING.

THICK CARDBOARD COVER, AMERICAN STYLE.

GLOSSY, LIGHTLY LAMINATED COVER

CLEAN, WEAR-FREE LABELS

THICK, HEAVY VINYL PRESSING

THE RECORD HAS A "STERLING" STAMP IN THE TRAIL-OFF VINYL (DEAD WAX) AREA, WHICH IS GENERALLY CONSIDERED AS A PROOF OF AUTHENTICITY OF THE FIRST GENERATION OF PRESSINGS.

Vinyl has some light surface scratches that don’t effect play.

****Sorry, no shipping or sales to Italy or Greece. I’ve had too many problems with records not meeting their destinations to those places lately. Shipping in the US will be sent PRIORITY, shipping for overseas is FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL. Check out my other auctions for other vinyl. Thanks a lot. Message me with any questions.
