The record:   Private home recording of Beethoven Sonata  Op.22 & 110  /  Turicaphon AG 30-567  Switzerland, 1961 private pressing, stereo;  live performance, Basel 1960
The booklet: 10x13 inches with 68 pages, 90 pictures, curriculum vitae, concert programs
This is No. 22 of a limited edition of only 500 copies!!

Paul Baumgartner, 1903 - 1976, studied with his father in St. Gallen, first performance at the age of 16, studies in München with prof. Walter Braunfels, in Köln with Eduard Erdmann, career in Germany, since 1937 teacher at the Musik-Akademie Basel and Hannover. Toured widely throughout Europe, America, Russia, India, duo-partner with Pablo Casals, Georg Kuhlenkampff, Emanuel Feuermann, Pierre Fournier and Sandor Vegh.


Booklet:   EX ( no major damages, but tatty, as there is only a paper and no cardboard cover ) Vinyl:       Near Mint ( almost no signs of use, beautiful condition, almost NO surface noise !! )
