Original 1st pressing from 1957 with deep grooves, RVG stamp, and p/ear etching


Record: Still retains its original gloss. Looks pretty good for its age at first glance but upon deeper inspection there are faint surface scuffs and tiny hairlines on both sides seen when placed under a lamp. About 2-3 very thin and small lightly feelable marks. A few more impressions marks from inner sleeve storage/pulling it in and out. The playback has some background surface. Music still comes through strong but since this is a bass album, there will be more noticeable crackle here and there. When first purchased years ago, the record was covered in dirt/grime. We did the best we could to clean it up but I’m sure there is still some underlying dirt stuck deep in the grooves.


Jacket: Front of jacket looks nice! Clean spine. Top seam has old tape. Name written in pen on back cover. Some light aged wear on the rear as well.


Overall the record is a nice copy and should get good enjoyment out of it. Nice beginner/intermediate collector copy.
