Description

PAUL CHAMBERS - WHIMS OF CHAMBERS, Blue Note 1534, deep groove pressing, 43 West 61st on jacket, 47 West 63rd on label, RVG & ear symbol in runoff grooves. Original Blue Note inner sleeve.

Condition of record is E++, no scuffs, no scratches, one spindle mark, plays very clean & quiet. Laminated jacket is beautiful, no ring wear, no seam splits.

Here is an absolutely beautiful copy of this 1956 recording.
The band is Donald Byrd (trumpet), John Coltrane (tenor sax), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Horace Silver (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Philly Joe Jones (drums).
The tunes are Omicron, Whims of Chambers, Nita, We Six, Dear Ann, Tale of the Fingers, Just For the Love.

VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
