Description

This is a mono deep-groove RVG-etched "P" hybrid second pressing of Paul Chambers Whims of Chambers on the Lexington Avenue (Side 1) and West 63rd, New York 23 (Side 2) labels of Blue Note BLP 1534. The playing surface is mint, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. Side 2 has an inaudible pressing anomaly, a slight indentation on the first track. The laminated cover has the West 61st Street address: three sharp corners and perfect seams; light foxing on the left and right sides of the back slick. Personnel includes Donald Byrd, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, and Paul Chambers.
