Paul Kelly & Coloured Girls ORIG OZ Promo 2LP Gossip VG+ '86 Mushroom L45961/2
Original OZ Promo 2LP released in 1986 on Mushroom Records. Cat: L45961/2. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Has printed inner bags which have some light marks and are in Excellent condition. Features Promo stickers on cover and both labels. Paul Kelly's first American release on A&M just happens to be his most valiant effort. Gossip bursts at the seams with blustery, distinguished tunes captivating both the somberness and the intrigue thrown forward from this fine Australian storyteller. His longing for the past, whether it's the simplicity of adolescence or the rekindling of a failed relationship, is revealed in startling clarity through dark-toned guitar and lonely harmonica. Kelly's anecdotes are far from the run-of-the-mill type, since he has a way of expressing mood by shaping both his words and his instruments to the situations he sings about.

There are a few spindle marks on labels. Records have a few light scuff scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles and are in VG+ condition. Gatefold cover has light ring wear and marks and is in VG++ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
