Original 1st US pressing factory sealed copy of Paul McCartney’s debut album. Very early East Coast circa 1970~71 pressing with the catalog number STAO-3363 and not the repressing with the changed abbreviation SMAS-3363. Original cardboard gatefold “Printed in U.S.A” cover variation with the New York address and credits at the bottom of the back cover reading” MANUFACTURED BY APPLE RECORDS INC. 1700 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10019”. Considering the New York address indicated on the cover, this copy was most likely pressed at the Capitol pressing plant in Winchester or Scranton. The vinyl inside might have the Sterling Sound mastering and Robert Ludwig’s “RL” initials etched in the runout groove. The album is in beautiful Mint condition. The shrink wrap with original breathe holes, one on each side of the album, doesn’t have any splits, tears or missing pieces, only having some very light age shelf wear.
