PAUL McCARTNEY - 'PRESS TO PLAY'


TWO different versions of this album were issued in the UK. The initial 45,000 copies contained a version of "Press" mixed by Bert Bevans and Steve Forward. Later copies contained the original Hugh Padgham mix. This 'Bevans/Forward' version can be identified by its 'PCSD 103 B-7-1-1' matrix. Later pressings had 'PCSD 103 B-1U-1-2'.

This 1986 UK early 1st pressing contains the rare 'Bevans/Forward' mix of 'Press'

It is on the EMI/Parlophone label: PSCD 103

Matrix numbers: PCSD 103 A-2U-1-2 & PCSD 103 B-7-1-1

Vinyl weight: 117g

Housed in an unlaminated gatefold cover, complete with printed lyric inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT +

Played just once or twice at most and bearing just some harmless light hairlines from the inner-sleeve beneath halogen light.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

  Unworn & filly intact with just a few faint age-related blemishes on the rear panel.

Inner-sleeve: MINT

Uncreased with no seam stresses or splits.
