Description
On Monday May 24, 2004 Sir Paul McCartney made a thorought soundcheck and was from seven in the afternoon until twelve at night performing the full show at El Molinón (Gijón, Tuesday 25 ). He was extremely nice to everyone , signing autographs and conducting interviews.
The stadium,s dressing rooms were adapted to the taste of Sir Paul and were decorated with hippie motifs,flowers, silks, Indian drapes and statues with the scents of incense. I was lucky enough to work at that concert ( together with the lot for sale you can find my accreditation) and being able to Sir.Paul who very kindly signed the album.
Unfortunately the bad weather and the rain that those days were in Gijón wet the signature was somewhat worn.
Despite this it is a great clear and typical Paul McCartney signature and I have no problem if the buyer wants to verify its authenticity.
I was lucky to be able to go to the presentation in London of his book “ Hey Grandude “ from where I got a stolen photo ( I can send it to the auction winner ).It is the last time I have been able to be with Sir Paul and get his autograph and this is the reason why I get rid of this.
Symbolic starting price because all money will go towards fighting against de global pandemic for a Barcelona Hospital.
