Please see pictures at bottom of auction page as I've added a few extra that are not on top. Here's a Rare 3 record set titled Chee Lai Songs Of New China by Paul Robeson.Unfortunately Record One has a couple of cracks including one very bad crack making the record very unplayable Please see picture. This is record one which has the songs Chee Lai and Work As One.Record two and record three are nice with no cracks. Also has the original booklet. This set is on the Keynote label and has the number 109 on spine. The cardboard cover that holds the three records looks nice.Has a tight 1 inch split on back edge of spine near top left corner Please see picture. Some rub wear on spine on back of cover.Front cover has 3 small rub gouges near the upper left corner and a small rub gouge near bottom of front cover as well also see picture.Corners have some wear and front flap of cover also has some shelf rub wear on top and bottom. Some rub wear on right edge of cover as well.Overall the cover looks pretty nice for its age.Spine and the 3 record sleeves inside which hold the records are nice and tight and firmly attached to cover with no looseness at all.The 3 record sleeves inside are in very nice shape with no tears or splits.Has some age spotting on the inside on the front and back flaps by edges.Has the original booklet that measures 9 inches by 6 inches. The booklets lower bottom left corner has some damage with some creasing/tearing and 2 small holes.Has all 3 records but as you can see record one with sides 1 and 2 has a very large and bad crack.Since the crack is so bad I'm hoping it won't get worse during shipment.I'll pack it extremely well with the other records in a thick cardboard sandwich with each record separated with an extra sheet of cardboard.Record two has sides 3 and 4.Side 3 looks very nice with 7 very light to light scratches and 2 small scratches that can be felt lightly with fingernail.Small amount of light scuffing.Has lots of nice looking shine on grooves.Side 4 looks to have 10 light scratches and 7 feelable scratches.Has 2 small clusters of very small feelable groove pit marks.Has some light scuffing.Has lots of shine on grooves.Record 3 has sides 5 and side 6.Side 5 has 2 songs on this side and has10 light scratches and 7 small scratches that measure about 1/2 of an inch that are feelable. These are all on the first song with none being on the second song.Small amount of light scuffing.Small amount of wear on grooves.Still has lots of shine.Side 6 has 6 light scratches and 3 feelable scratches. Two of the feelable scratches are very small and small with the third one being an about an inch long.Has a few scuffs that will not affect play.Has some groove wear but still has nice shine. Please bid on this set as if it only has two records since the cracked one may not make it without it breaking in half.I'm an excellent 78 packer and have been doing it for years so I'll do my best to get it to you in one piece instead of two. Also the package will be a bit heavy between 4 and 1/2 to 5 pounds so buyers outside the U.S. Please check shipping before bidding. If I do ship it outside the U.S. I'll have to ship it Priority since it's over 4 pounds.
