Description
CBS Mastersound audiophile pressing of Greatest Hits, Etc. from Paul Simon, featuring the sought-after Half-Speed Mastered treatment that helped make these early Columbia audiophile releases collectible staples decades later.
Loaded with core Simon material including “Kodachrome,” “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover,” “American Tune,” “Loves Me Like A Rock,” and “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard.” The mastering on these editions tends to deliver a cleaner, wider presentation than standard stock copies, which is exactly why the Mastersound series developed such a loyal following among vinyl listeners.
Complete copy with original Mastersound inner sleeve and insert present. Gatefold jacket displays beautifully with strong color and gloss. Playback is NM-, clean and strong.
NOTE: Please consider that your audio equipment blows mine away and the record will invariably sound better on your system. Also, I do not have the ability to professionally clean records and give one static brush before ONE sampling, then back into the sleeve and jacket. My goal is to give you all you need for a transparent purchasing experience.
Please follow my store, Andy’s Eye. Also, you can always google "HereB4UBuy" to find some of my listings!
