Description
Paul Whiteman and his Concert Orchestra, with George Gershwin at the piano, performing "Rhapsody in Blue". This is an original pressing of Victor 35822 (Victor scroll label, Camden pressing), recorded and released in 1927 on a 12" 78 RPM shellac record. It is the first electrical recording of the piece, with the composer at the piano.
Record is V+ on the VJM scale, visually and play-graded. Minor scratches and scuffs, but surfaces are still mostly shiny. Background noise is not overpowering.
Fragile shellac will be sandwiched between cardboard filler pads, floating in packing peanuts in an appropriately-sized box for shipping.
