I have a number of LPs at auction and will hopefully continue selling for a few more weeks. Please take a look at my other auctions for more great albums from Reference Recordings, Sheffield Lab, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, TelArc, and more.
If you’d like to bid, please read this auction listing carefully; it tells you just about everything you’ll need to know.
No Shipping outside the U.S. !
Okay, guys and gals… time to get serious. This is truly a great find that absolutely belongs in your collection.
This is a really nice, foam-lined boxed, limited edition, 2-record set in superb, near-mint condition. Once part of the collection of an audiophile, this album has been properly & carefully stored in a non-smoking, pet-free environment. When played, it was on an Oracle Delphi Mark III turntable.
This copy of La Boheme is Half-Speed mastered, specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl in Japan. It includes special static-free and dust-free inner sleeves, special heavy-duty protective packaging, sourced from the original stereo master tapes, and was mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System.
Condition Notes:
- The two vinyl LPs are in Near-Mint condition, with absolutely no discernible flaws or scratches.
- Inside the foam-lined box are beautiful liners with built-in scratch-resistant sleeves, each with a picture of Puccini.
- The enclosed libretto is in pristine shape, as though it was never touched.
- The exterior of the album box is conservatively graded as VG+, close to NM. While there are no dents, scratches or other damage on the box, there is ever-so-slight wear on the front… really minimal. The Limited Edition stamp on the back of the box is perfect.
Except for the extremely slight wear on the front cover, this beautiful boxed seat is Near Perfect in every way!
Good Luck!
About LP Grading and Shipping
I do not own a turntable. Grading of this LP has been done visually using a high-powered halogen lamp. All grading indications are based on standards that can be found at www.theaudioanalyst.com/Record_Grading.htm Every effort has been made to accurately grade and represent each LP.
Feedback from many buyers indicates that I grade albums very conservatively, so the condition of the LP is likely better than the grade I’ve given it. All LPs are first wrapped in paper and then shipped in sturdy, safe, LP mailer boxes. Vinyl will be shipped inside the cover unless you specifically request otherwise.
The picture in the auction listing is the actual album cover.
International Bidders, Please Read This !
* New Information *
I will not ship LPs outside the United States!
If your eBay username is registered in a non-U.S. country, you must contact me PRIOR to bidding, giving me a U.S.-based shipping address. If you do not provide a U.S.-based shipping address and I see that your bid is from overseas, your bid will be cancelled without further notification. Other people have notified me, so I know you can do it, too!
If you are an international bidder who places a bid in the last few minutes of an auction, you MUST email me with a U.S.-based address before you place your bid. If you do not do this, I will cancel your bid and give a Second-Chance offer to the next highest U.S.-based bidder.
Simply: If you are not in the U.S., you’ll need a shipping address in the U.S., and you must tell me that address before bidding.
Please do not ask, “Will you ship to my country?” I won’t.
All such questions will be posted to the auction listing in progress.
Please feel free to contact me via email with any questions you might have regarding this auction. I will answer any and all questions (other than the ones mentioned above) as quickly as possible.
Multiple LP wins that close within 48 hours will be shipped at combined rates. The shipping calculator and invoice function should take care of the combined shipping rates. Contact me with any questions about this.
Good luck, and Happy Bidding!
