Description
This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. There are many rarities from Peacock & Savoy as well as several from smaller labels. Lots of gems here! Keep an eye on the store as well, I'm doing a jazz 45's auction starting in early February.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Jimmy McCracklin and His Blues Blasters - I Need Your Loving / The Swinging Thing
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: Original 1st pressing on white label. The last single released by McCracklin with the Blues Blasters. The A-side is a nice blues track with some more R&B style backing, the B-side is a great guitar/piano instrumental with a fantastic intro that you need to hear.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny scuffs. There are a handful of pressing dimples on Swinging side, mostly in runoff, that DNAP. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice, with no writing/tearing/stickers. There is some light scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: G+, sleeve has some wear including some wrinkles and ruffling at the top. There is also a small number written in pencil. There is also a tear on the edge of the hole on one side. Presents better than it's true grade and these Peacock sleeves are pretty hard to find.
Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well, I'm doing a Jazz 45's auction starting in early February which has several Blue Notes and some cool rare EPs.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
