This is part of a big auction full of gospel record from Peacock, Gospel, Savoy & Nashboro.  Great stuff that is often overlooked.  Many of these are promos and all are in great shape.

Release: Reverend Cleophus Robinson & His Sister Josephine James - Pray for Me / When I Cross Over

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1956

Notes: Original release with the black labels. The first of only three singles released by this duo, both of whom were excellent artists in their own right.  Classic old-school gospel sound with some great organ work.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape, very clean with almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with no noticeable background noise.  No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just a bit of light scuffing.  This is a very nice copy overall.

Due to travel and the holidays, this will be my last auction of the year.  Mark me as a favorite though because I have some killer rockabilly and small label blues/R&B auctions coming in January.
