Description
Peggy Lee and George Shearing "Beauty and the Beat!" 1959 Capitol Records T 1219. This is a really special box edition of this album. It was recorded live (a great concert by the way!) at the National Disc Jockey Convention in Miami. This box was available as a souvenir for the attendees. The album sleeve front and back are on the insides of the box, along with the inner sleeve, welcome letters and wonderful autographed photos of Peggy and George. The box is in good shape, with minor damage on the lower right corner, some tape on the right edge, and some kind of very minor liquid damage on the back (see photos). Vinyl is just excellent, visually pristine and playing back perfectly. There are tons of other versions of this record, but I don't think you'll find another package just like this. You'll cry as if the happy memories of the event were your own. Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system. I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
