PEPSI & SHIIRLEY - SOMEDAY Rare UK Promotional Copy Polydor (PO-120), 1991
The picture sleeve features two original promotional stickers: a Polydor release-date sticker dated 2/4 with contact details, and a second sticker prominently stating "Written Arranged & Produced by George Michael."
Also included is the original folded promotional press/release sheet, containing background information on Pepsi & Shirley and details of George Michael's involvement with the recording, including backing vocals.
The record itself is the original UK 7" Polydor pressing. What makes this example particularly unusual is the complete promotional presentation, with both original sleeve stickers and accompanying period paperwork still together with original fold lines.
An interesting and seemingly scarce piece of Pepsi & Shirley/George Michael/Wham! releated promotional memorabilia from 1991. As far as I'm aware, no other promotional copy of this particular release is available, or has been listed on ebay or any other major vinyl re-sale platform in recent years.
I have two copies of this record and both are promotional copies (recently obtained in Aug 2026). Both vinyls are considered excellent / near mint and both sleeves considered excellent condition. Front promotional stickers and inner promotional press release are included in both. Due to the age there sleeves have minor wear around edges, with one sleeve having a little creasing to the back fold area. The first person to purchase will receive the sleeve that I consider to be in the better condition.
*Whilst vinyls are considered un-played, I rarely ever state vinyls are mint unless in sealed condition. Over the years vinyls will have been held, touched and may have had a couple of test plays. As such the condition of both records is considered excellent / near mint.
