Description
This is a set of two 16 inch radio transcription records created by Empire Broadcasting Corporation.
They contain two episodes of the Counterspy espionage radio drama series that aired on the NBC, ABC and Mutual radio networks from 1942 through 1957.
To hear a complete episode you play one side of each disc and then the opposite sides for the second episode.
This series was sponsored by the Pepsi-Cola company.
The episodes contained on these discs are the "Case of the Bouncing Bank Robber" and the "Case of the Statue of Death". These episodes appear to have been produced in August 1949.
There are pencil notes on the labels that are probably the dates they were played at the radio station.
