PC-8256A&B "Pepsi-Cola Youth Market Radio-1966." Mega rare 7" 33-1/3 EP from (when else???) 1966 with Pepsi advertising jingles by The Hondells, Martha & The Vandellas, and Del Shannon, featuring tracks unavailable elsewhere (I think the Del Shannon may be on the Bear Family Box). Tracks, side A: Cut 1) Hondells :60 Full Vocal 2) Hondells :60 Open Middle 3) Hondells :30 open Middle 4) Martha & The Vandellas :60 Full Vocal 5) Martha & The Vandellas :60 Open Middle 6) Martha & The Vandellas :30 Open Middle. Side 2: Cut 1) Del Shannon :60 Full Vocal 2) Del Shannon :60 Open Middle 3) Del Shannon :30 Open Middle. VG-/VG Condition. There is some surface noise from many light scratches, most notably at the beginning of the Side 1, track 1 by the Hondells, but both sides play through without skipping and sound quite good actually (slightly lower fidelity than a 45 due to slower speed). All songs are variations on the "Come Alive--You're In the Pepsi Generation" theme. There can't be too many copies of this out there; a rare opportunity for the surf/Motown/60's rock collector/Pepsi lover. Winning US/Canadian bidder to add $3 for First Class postage.
