Percy Mayfield - Bought Blues. Tangerine TRCS 1510. M-/M-. Percy was under contract to Ray Charles as a songwriter ("Hit the Road, Jack", "Hide Nor Hair", etc.) and thus this hard-to-find LP came about. No wonder the piano sounds so good - it's Ray Charles! And that is Ray's band. Check out "Rivers Invitation" and "My Jug and I".
