Welcome to Music N Things
I am selling; A Super RareVinyl LP by Pesky Gee! called "EXCLAMATION MARK". It is their original 1969 debut LP on the Pye Label NPL 18293.
1st press Matrix A NPL 18293 - A1 / B NPL 18293 - B1, UK Original. Also on the run in alongside the matrix numbers are (correct me if I am wrong please) the stampers on each side which are both 1.
VINYL Visual: The vinyl looks immaculate with it's original deep shine and minimal signs of wear there are the usual static pops and crackles but the record plays beautifully and there are no jumps.
Outer (front) Laminated Sleeve: is excellant ++. Back Outer Sleeve is excellant ++ With just a name written in ink on it, expected of a 40 year old record. The Labels are both clean. Please study photo's carefully as they are pretty realistic - in fact if anything in reality the sleeve and labels look slightly better.Why this record is so rare;

Kay Garrett (lead vocals)
Kip Trevor (lead vocals, guitar and harmonica)
Jim Gannon (guitar, vocals and vibes)
Bob Bond (bass guitar)
Clive Box (drums and piano)
Jess "Zoot" Taylor (organ)
Clive Jones (saxophone and flute).
The band split in September 1969.
Garrett then left the band and the remaining band members continued on as Black Widow and released their debut album Sacrifice in 1970.
This was the one and only record that Pesky Gee released!

Just a bit of background. All the records I sell are from my own or the other halves collection of many years. This was purchased when I was a student nurse in the very early 70's. I always bought my records from the second hand record shops (Due to living on a pittance). Generally I bought covers that appealed to me - so you can see why I bought this at the time. And also why it has a name on it - the record shops at the time had no shame. They used to pin records up around the shop and all sorts. I stored it away as the music was not really my scene.
Please note that the free postage is for basic second class postage only within UK. This record is far too rare to be posted in this way. If you buy it I recommend that you use First Class Recorded with proper LP packaging at the very least. Remember though, this will only insure up to £39.00. Special Delivery costs a bit more but your precious records are fully insured and packaged accordingly.
If you are abroad please remember that the postage includes the very best of packaging and means the record is fully insured up to £500. If I can post for less with the same high standard I will refund the excess.
This is a rare opportunity to get this record in this condition. It has been carefully stored and looked after. We all have to downsize and are therefor listing some of our treasures including many rare records and music items. Especially Led Zepp and similar artists. If you are looking for a particular record let me know and if we have it I will list it.
