Pet Shop Boys Hot Rocks Radio Show double LP with running order sheets.
This is one item from the Pet Shop Boys that I have never seen for sale anywhere. This was broadcast back in 1988 in the USA and is extremely rare.
This originally cost me $300 in the states back in 1988 and still has the price on the clear plastic sleeve to which this has been kept in.
The sleeve contains 2 x LP's with 3 sides used for the broadcast. I have taken pictures of the running order sheets so you can see the contents of the 3 sides. Most of the main tracks from "Please" & "Actually" are included in the broadcast.
You can here the Pet Shop Boys being interviewed by the DJ and the Pet Shop Boys talking about how they got into the business, how they make records etc etc, you can also here the adverts which went out on the broadcast.
Both LP's play at 33rpm and are in fantastic condition, no jumps, perfect.
Although this item is used, I have only ever payed it once in the 28 years I have had it.
This item was never commercially available and is not even promo, there were just a few copies circulated between the radio stations in the US at the time of airplay. There will be only a few copies worldwide.
