VINTAGE VICTOR RED SEAL 78 RPM – PLAY TESTED & WORKING
Offered is a vintage Victor Red Seal 10-1025 78 RPM shellac record featuring celebrated Australian bass-baritone Peter Dawson.
One side features the classic Australian song “Waltzing Matilda,” credited on the label to A. B. Paterson and Marie Cowan, with arrangement by Thomas Wood.
The reverse features “Waiata Poi – Maori Poi Song,” with words and music by Alfred Hill.
Both performances feature Peter Dawson, Bass-Baritone, with Orchestra and Chorus, and the Victor labels state that the recordings were recorded in Europe.
